Reflecting our region’s unique cultures and communities.
To create these diverse passenger experiences, the terminal will feature three cultural districts with its own look and ambiance —the Urban District, the Heritage District, and the Seaside District —that each represent a unique cultural perspective of the San Diego region.
Seaside District
The western wing of the terminal celebrates San Diego’s 70 miles of coastline, capturing both our laidback surfing vibe and the natural beauty of our iconic seaside views to create a relaxing ambiance.
Urban District
This dynamic area in the center of the terminal is inspired by San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter’s grit and liveliness that will be sure to capture the attention of passengers.
Heritage District
The eastern wing of the terminal celebrates San Diego’s historic roots as a mission settlement, evoking the vibrant atmosphere of Old Town and the striking architecture of historic missions that create warm and inviting spaces.
Sit back and relax in style.
