The New T1 Parking Plaza has arrived.

The Parking Plaza adds 2,800 new parking spots for easy access to airlines serving Terminal 1, including Southwest Airlines, Sun Country Airlines, Spirit Airlines, and Frontier Airlines.

An exceptional parking experience.

Your exceptional airport experience starts before you even step foot in the terminal. Our advanced parking guidance system will help you find an open parking spot quickly, reducing the amount of time you spend circling and vehicle emissions at the same time. You’ll have three elevator cabs on each level to choose from and pedestrian corridors on each level to guide you there. Once you reach Level 1, grab some refreshments from one of the vending machines or a luggage cart to easily get your bags to check-in.

Electric vehicle (EV) owners can conveniently charge their cars at ports on Levels 1-4, paying at designated payment station or through the Power Flex app. Preferred parking spaces will also be available for electric, alternative fuel, and fuel-efficient vehicles to help you save time, maximize efficiency if you are carpooling, and minimize your carbon footprint. Before you leave, stop by the tire inflation station to fill up at no cost to you to keep your vehicle performing optimally.

Payments made easy.

The first 10 minutes are on us. We won’t charge vehicles that enter and exit the parking plaza within 10 minutes.

Save time with online reservations. If you reserved parking, license plate recognition software will automatically open to allow you in and out or simply scan the QR code from your mobile device or printed confirmation.

Your credit card is the key. Swipe your credit or debit card when you enter the Parking Plaza and don’t worry about taking a ticket—just use the same card at the kiosk when you exit. If you do get a ticket, you can pay at one of the payment kiosks near the elevators. We also accept payment from NFC-enabled devices, like Apple Pay.

Park, meet, and greet.

One-hour, short-term parking spaces are available on Level 1 for anyone picking up or dropping off passengers such as older adults, people with disabilities, and unaccompanied minors, who need help getting to or from their gate. To access Level 1 of the Terminal 1 Parking Plaza, bear left after passing the entry gates. Please coordinate wheelchair or electric cart service directly with airlines.

Advancing a sustainable parking structure.

The Parking Plaza is constructed to achieve Gold-level certification under the Parksmart rating system with sustainability features such as the Parking Guidance System, tire inflation stations, EV charging network, “Clean Vehicle” preferential parking, efficient lighting, and rainwater collection system. Customers can also purchase carbon offsets or donate to local environmental projects through The Good Traveler program. It’s part of our industry-leading commitment to sustainability.
